Minelab CTX 3030 Underwater Metal Detector Review
Where to buy
$1,999
Buy now Minelab CTX 3030 is the king of all waterproof metal detectors that are of high performance and of impressive quality. Its target identification has one of the highest accuracies on the market, while its full-color LCD display possesses the readability that was never seen before.
Regardless of the ground conditions in which you will be using your detector, it has the capacity to provide you with the best treasures that won’t be mistaken for junk.
You can freely take advantage of the built-in speaker, headphones, and the wireless audio all while precisely navigating the surface with the integrated into the detector GPS. Once you find the most fruitful locations, transfer data onto Google Maps through Exchange 2 PC app, and you are equipped with the proven places to hunt.
You don’t have to be a professional treasure hunter to benefit from this device – features like ‘switch on and go’, 5 present search modes, and automatic operating system make it easy to hunt as a novice too.
Things we like:
- The GPS system works great for remembering your preferred hunting locations
- The quality of the detector is one of the best ones on the market
Things we don't like:
- The most expensive underwater metal detector in this guide

DIVEIN's take
Why buy from Amazon?
Amazon has a documented Prime delivery program that covers millions of items, and that is the most concrete order-related support behind buying here.
Worth knowing
Some customers report slower replies or needing more follow-up than expected when they asked for help after ordering. If an order needs post-purchase support, that part of the experience is not always smooth.
Some customers also report delivery problems after ordering. That keeps follow-up and delivery as the areas to watch if you place the order here.
Accepted payments
Discover
Checkout on amazon.com is served over a secure SSL (https) connection.
Shipping & returns
Free shipping on eligible orders meeting the minimum threshold. Ships from Amazon fulfillment centers or third-party sellers, depending on the listing; seller-shipped items may take longer. Most items sold on Amazon.com may be returned within 30 days of delivery; exceptions apply.
